Inter Black
Where is the sun?
Body / Inter
A privacy-first iPhone weather planner that finds nearby places with better weather, supported by a playful launch site and App Store presence.

Where Sun turns a familiar question — where is the sun? — into one clear action. The product compares nearby places and forecast days, then makes a useful day-trip decision feel lighter than reading a weather map.
Complex location data, place discovery and parallel weather checks had to disappear behind a simple interface. The app still needed to be useful when perfect sun was unavailable, work without a user account, and explain its privacy-first model clearly enough to earn trust.
Users start from GPS or a chosen city and forecast day. The product combines nearby cities, towns, beaches, parks and nature destinations, checks their weather in parallel and ranks them as sunny, partly sunny or without sun, with rain and severe-weather context. A secure Cloudflare Worker keeps API keys out of the app, while the visual identity, Field Notes, FAQ and privacy pages explain the experience before users continue to the App Store.
The published iPhone app offers a free daily planning flow and an optional premium tier for longer forecasts, wider search radii and more saved places. It requires no user account, contains no advertising and does not use data for ad tracking; the launch website gives the product a clear, credible home outside the App Store.

Your next perfect day is out there.
